Our story at Lake Country Financial Group began in 2007, when our founder, Debbie Lang, realized her dream of becoming a Certified Financial Planner and transitioned from a successful 17-year banking career to join Freedom 55 Financial, a division of London Life Insurance. Debbie's vision was clear: to offer comprehensive financial planning services that went beyond what traditional banking could provide to her clients in Northwestern Ontario and beyond. In 2013, recognizing the power of collaboration, Debbie joined forces with the Branstone Financial Strategies team to enhance the value she could deliver to her clients. By 2017, the dream expanded as Debbie welcomed her daughter, Emma Lang, into the business, envisioning her as the eventual successor. In 2022, her son, Zach Lang, joined as a para-planner and consultant. With family at the core, 2023 marked a significant milestone as we rebranded to Lake Country Financial Group, a name deeply rooted in the communities we serve. Together, Debbie, Emma, Zach, and our dedicated administrative assistant, Debbie, are committed to providing holistic multigenerational financial strategies to all our clients, reflecting our journey and dedication to helping others achieve financial success and peace of mind. We are proud to continue this mission as part of the Branstone Financial Strategies family, while our new name represents the region where we live and serve.
